UK General Surgery's Levi Procter was the first place winner in the clinical investigation category with his paper, “Acute Care Surgery Is a Profitable Service Line in an Appropriately Staffed Hospital.” Congratulations, Dr. Procter!
Levi Procter will be this year’s Charles Nicholson Scholar. The Nicholson Scholar is named each year among the 4th year general surgery residents based upon an application, CV and essay. As the Scholar, Dr. Procter will be taking the Charles Nicholson Clinical Tour during his Chief year, visiting other surgical programs to expand his knowledge and gain new skills. We look forward to hearing about his experiences on the Tour and know he will represent UK well when traveling. Congratulations, Dr. Procter!
